Bullying Prevention Month

13 Oct

October is busy! Of course there is Halloween, and also World Wide Teacher Day, World Wide Character Counts Month, and Bullying Prevention Month. Most of you have probably witnessed some sort of bullying in your classrooms, be it teasing words or physical injury. It’s even easier to find cruelty in the seemingly anonymous world of the Internet, where most students spend a considerable amount of time. We know you do your part to help break the bullying cycle. And we thank you. Here is a helpful guide to “bully proof your classroom“.

Show kids that words and actions have consequences; it isn’t funny to be mean.

Friendly Reminder: ANOTHER BragTag™ giveaway on another awesome teacher’s blog.

Have a great weekend! : )

‘Be a Buddy, Not a Bully’ is genius!! What better a way to remind our students of the importance of being caring & patient, than to wear these tags each day close to their hearts?! Love these tags and I KNOW every student in our school will benefit from seeing these tags around students necks! Fingers crossed for a win!! Good Luck LES!!

We LOVE hearing from you! Let us know what you think.
